SAGA Age of Magic: Battle Royal December 27, 2022
This Christmas I hosted a 4 player game of SAGA age of Magic n December 27, 2022 with our forth playing being John was visiting over the holiday. This is something we had not done since John's departure and the onset of the pandemic. Once again I used the SAGA AoM Battle Royal scenario.
The Warbands involved were:

2 Paladins – Sgt. Renfrew on horse & Mary Claus on foot - 4 hearthguard
1 Creature unit of 2 quadrupeds / Reindeer 1 point
1 Warrior Unit of Toy Soldiers with rifles + bayonets, but no bullets 1 point
2 Hearthguard Units, (8-4 = 4) Copplestone Evil Snowmen 2 points
1 Levy = 12 Elves with Rifles 1 point

The Battle
I will let the pictures tell the story as the actual game report has been lost to the mists of time or a snow storm. The two sides with the chaos alignment worked as allies as did the forces of order. Unfortunately time pressure and fading light meant some of the pictures are a bit blurry, cropped or don't capture as much detail as I would have liked.

| Overview |
The pictures tell the story and Santa's Warband and the Giants seemed to suffer the most casualties before the game timed out. The victorious warbands were the Undead and Skaven. It was an enjoyable holiday game, and perhaps there will be a similar one in 2023!
