Yesterday I bought this LS Laboratory kit of a Type 1 Japanese Medium Tank (aka Type 1 Chi-He tank) at a local Hobby shop for $1 on the discount
table. The kit was first released in 1964 and appears to have an oversized gun that can fire a projectile. At 1/50 scale it will work with 28mm figures,
maybe for a pulp game or a skirmish level Second World War game. It will be a challenging build as the
instructions are missing.

Earlier in August 2018 I found these 3 vintage 28mm scale compatible AFV kits at the same shop, pictures below.

German Sd.Kfz 250/3 Grief 1/40 scale kit by Doyusha from 1971 |
The Sd.Kfz 250/3 kit is a very unusual scale at 1/40, as 1/32, 1/35 or 1/48 are the usual scales. The tracks had deteriorated and some spare ones from a Tamiya 1/35 scale Sd.Kfz 250/3 kit seems to fit. Likewise for the LS Laboratory Japanese Type 1 Medium tank kit at 1/50 scale is unusual.
