This was a 15mmSpearhead game run by my friend William at the Ottawa Miniatures Games Club on Friday night February 17, 2023. The terrain and figures were contributed by multiple players, including myself resulting in a bit of an unmatched look The Scenario is called Pushing Forward set in the Summer of 1944 and was a test Game for Cangames 2023 and can be found here.

Overview |
We used the club Cigar Box mat, I think it was roughly 7' x 4' 10". We were planning on 8' x 5' which is what we will use next time. We used the ground scale as written for 6mm figures (1" = 100 yards) next time we will try the 15mm scale which increases all distances (movement, spotting, shooting and command radius) by x 1.5.
The British had 2 Lorried infantry battalions, with an attaches support MG company (3 MMG + 1 x 4.2" mortar), 1 Motor Infantry battalion in M5 half-tracks, and a Sherman Armoured battalion (regiment) plus twelve 25 pounders off-board. The German's had an infantry company with attached Tiger I tank, 88mm AT /AA, A Grill 15cm SiG, 120mm mortar, a Panzer IVH battalion with two companies and a PanzerGrenadier company in SdKfz 251/1 half-tracks attached to it.
I was operating one of the Lorried Infantry battalions with attached MMG and 4.2" mortar.

The reason the tanks seem bunched together is the 12" command radius with 18" they will be more spaced out. Think we got about 6 turns in and needed more time, but it was a good learning experience.

We only had about 2.5 hours as e ended up starting a bit later than planned thanks to yet another snow storm. The game ended after tun 6 without a resolution. However it was a good learning experience. When we concluded the British were in the process of capturing the main hill (an objective) with the Germans retreating off it. However the British has lost an infantry battalion on the right flank and a company of German Panzer IVH had arrived on turn 4.
