Happy New Year

Happy New Year Everyone, all the best in 2024

Making slow but steady progress getting my 28mm sailors in white tropical / Pacific uniforms painted, including two versions of Vera Lynn, all for Menelduir's the Pulp Alley China Station campaign.  Along with them some RN sailors in blue (Atlantic) uniforms and a Humber Scout Car, all for Bolt Action.

Figures by Warlord, Pulp Figures and Bad Squido

Here is a ship I have-  the SS Thor model by the Tin Soldier company (card stock kit) to go with the above figures.  It is a  small motor ship or cargo lighter and is typical of many such workhorses of the sea which ply the inter-coastal trade that fits in with the 1930's and 40s setting of the Pulp Ally China Station campaign. It was used previously in one of my Doctor Who Sea Devil games.  I doubt it will get used in the China Station campaign, but you  never know!

Below are pictures of some of the action from Menelduir's China Station Pulp Alley campaign which began in the summer of 2023, these from the first two games:

Below is my RN shore party league from the China Station campaign, who will soon find their Pacific Whites, in a trunk washed ashore from the ship wreck!

New Years Resolution

One of my New Years resolutions is to get caught up on my AAR's in this blog, including: Christmas 2022 Fantastic Battles game, a Bolt Action game from last Summer, Doctor Who Galactic Cathedral from Cangames 2023,  the China Station Campaign,  a 15mm 1944 Spearhead Cangames game, and three 6mm Second World War games run this December 2023-  two using  FFT3 and one with Spearhead.  We will see how well I do at getting caught up on all of those.

In the meantime three teaser photos from my  Galactic Cathedral Cangames DWMG game run at Cangames 2023 in May..
